RHODE,
THEODORE RUBEN JR., 83,
of Louisville, died
Monday, November 1,
2007, at Norton
Hospital. He was born
November 10, 1924 to the
late Theodore and Marie
Rhode in Tobias, NE. He
was a court reporter
having attended school
in Washington, DC where
he also worked for the
Secretary of the Army at
the Pentagon. He was a
World War II Army
veteran stationed in the
Island of Peleliu, South
Pacific, and a member of
Concordia Lutheran
Church. He was preceded
in death by his parents;
sisters, Renata Edwards
and Valinda Richardson;
and brother, Frederic
Rhode. He is survived by
his loving wife of 26
years, Sherry; four
children, Debbie Rhode-Cogliandro
(Chuck), Bruce Rhode
(Alicia), Michael Rhode
(Adrienne) and Katie
Rhode; eight
grandchildren: Briana
Howard, Jamie Mingus,
Matt Rhode, Brad Rhode,
Luke Rhode, Damion
Rhode, Brooklyn Rhode,
and McKenna Rhode; and
three
great-grandchildren:
Hunter Howard, Milo
Mingus, and Tucker
Mingus. Memorial
gifts may be made to the
Theodore Rhode
Scholarship Fund,
Concordia College,
Seward, NE or his church.
Ted served faithfully as
President on our
Camp Cedarbrook board
for over Ten
years. Our
thoughts and prayers are
with his family and he
will be greatly missed.
